At the moment I'm listening to Mary Gauthier's Mercy Now. Prior to that, I was listening to a compilation of interview and songs by a certain beloved artist known to this bunch (sent by a friend in CT for Christmas)

Uh..Hello..I'm new here...
As far as what's playing..Well, today I've been cramming for a postal exam scheduled for tommorow so it's all instrumentals... 1. Gleensheen-WillowGreen --Celtic music from the NE MN area 2. The Truman Show soundtrack --music from the movie(my personal favorite) 3. Pickin' on U2-a Bluegrass Tribute to U2 --my favorite bluegrass CD... Right now, I have John Stewart's "Blondes" cranking out right now just for a change of pace... ...and FWIW, GL's "United Artists Collection" is always near my stereo and gets multiple plays during any given week... As far as what I googled last, postal exam help..:) Hope it's all worth it... |

Hi to everyone, I'm new here and thought I'd share what I'm listening to. I"m shuffling through my itunes, so there's a few.
Gordon Lightfoot--"If You Could Read My Ming" Dave Matthews Band--"Weekend On The Rocks" Johnny Cash--"The Legend Of Johnny Cash"...I went to see "Walk The Line" last night, so I was inspired. Pink Floyd--"The Wall Live 1980-81" That's some collection I have, lol. I'm only 21 but most the music I listen to are older than I am, except for Dave Matthews Band. You'd never hear me listening to todays music, I love the 60's-80's music too much. |
Since it's Sunday I have on;
Vince Guaraldi at Grace Cathedral John Denver's Poems, Prayers and Promises John Stewart's Canons in the Rain All three are full of prayers. |
Today - for whatever reason - I cannot get enough of 'Never too Close'. I get days like this when a song just has to be surrendered to.
*sigh* |
