Yes!!! Exactly!! It's a new line of GL wear featuring, Gold Toe Socks and Polka-dotted underware. It can be purchased at most major department stores. The socks retail for $4.99 a pair and the underware is three pair for $7.99. I'll send you a catalog.

No, no, no, Titan! You have it slightly wrong. It's $4.99 for the socks in 3-packs, and $7.99 for the "underware." Underware = cookware that you can wear. The latest fashion statement! And it is great for the athlete on your list since underware is so sturdy it will also double as a great athletic supporter!

underwear- guaranteed to make all underachievers such as myself feel great with their tighty whiteys on. It could possibly account for the non nervous songs by our hero Gordon...what a superior feeling to know you have on your polka dot undies. Mine are polka dots (pink, green and blue) though red and white would be superior, I suppose. The thought is if it makes Gords songs what they are I'm all for it!!!!! Purple and orange, sure. Green and red, why not? Go Gord. Cathy, you must use some like element to make you sing so well alsoo, what's your secret? LOL

It was a joke Annie, I actually did know how it was spelled! There are many words that I can mangle the spelling of myself, but that one I did know!

Got it, but as a former English major, rampant poor spelling drives me round the bend. Just this morning an ad in the local paper looking for volunteers in a clinical study of C-reactive protein mentioned that the volunteers could not have had a prior "heart attack or struck" - I am assuming they meant "stroke" but for Pete's sake, you'd wonder about the quality of the research if they can't even get basic terms right.
Curmudgeonly yours....

Annie: If you are a former English major, then what are you now?

;^)

SUIM-ingly yours...

Enjoying (very) early retirement [translation: between gigs or looking for work.] I've been out of school since 1974, having long since completed my undergraduate educational program.
