This so called "choice" of yours stinks M.M.
I suspect I am not alone saying I lose whichever way I choose to go. As a cop out I go with the view of the Man himself who leans towards playing DQ. in the set lists I have seen... But is the artist , who has spilt if not actual then emotional blood and toil ,and has serious bias for that reason the best judge ? Or is it way less cerebral than my musings and does he just like playing DQ 'cos he likes it??? - way 2 HARD DQ for me ,but Minstrel Man please make them easier than this one ...(or my doctors account is on the way!) Ouch, ouch, ouch. The imagery and melodies are so rich in both of these classics! I've got to go with Minstel, though.

horrid. I almost passed on this one.
Don Quixote |
Okay,I really like them both so like I did on another one...I'll use my 1 point off system.
Winning by a point is,"Don Quixote". :) |
To Sydney Steve: Make them easier? If it were too easy it would not be as interesting or as fun! :) I suggested an "easy" comparison to M.M. and he said quite simply that the choice would be too obvious.
The challenge of choosing one over the other is a great way of looking inside one's own personality and also is quite simply, great exercise for one's mind. Keep up the challenge M.M.! :D Don't change a thing! |
Very eloquent Borderstone. And I agree completely with your thoughts. I find it interesting to reflect on the songs and try to choose a favourite. And when it's close, it's fun to see what others on the board think.
