Yes it is but where's the rows of lights?
Here is #79 http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/schiff001.gif http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/sert.gif [This message has been edited by stationmaster (edited September 12, 2004).] |
hmmm. no picture again
|
|
Sorry I'm having trouble with the computer again...
|
One of my favorite songs, Marie Christine
The lighthouse shining from the rock For the ship Marie Christine and all her gallant lot! |
But that wasn't the original animation!!
It was a little red and white stripey ship, zipping from side to side of the frame. Bleaahh! You're not playing fair. I'm going to scweem and scweem until I make myself sick and then throw all my toys out of the pram!!!!!!! |
lol Gaby. A Passing Ship was already done a page or so (maybe more) back.
|
Ah! But this guy is tricky!! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
|
"High and Dry?" (The lighthouse is high and sson the boat will be in "dry" dock? )
------------------ "A knight of the road, going back to a place where he might get warm." ;) - Borderstone |
Sorry Gaby, I was having trouble with that last ship. It wouldn't let me show the lighthouse...
And Marie Christine was correct! Here is #80 http://www.packrat-pro.com/hthing4.gif |
cobwebs and dust?
|
lol Gaby, I'm so glad you're back. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
|
|
I like easy.
|
Thanks, Deb! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
Mick's on the mend, now. Life is back on track, now. Thank goodness. |
really like this art pic, SM http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
it looks like they're On Yonge St. to me? "everywhere you walk people almost say hello" i dunno Gord, everywhere i walk people seem to grunt and go out of their way to elbow me, then ya got those rollerbladers and skateboard dudes whippin' by on each side...and seems like i'm always going against to flow, it's like i'm right in a bad video game...Sidewalk Invaders or something like that, agh...how am i at promoting T.O. tourism? i may have just singlehandedly negated all the good the SARS concert did, lol [This message has been edited by jj (edited September 12, 2004).] |

LOL jj. well, it's not the most promising promotion, but it won't stop me.
I think we already did Yonge Street somewhere in the other eight pages. It kinda strikes me as Minstrel of the Dawn.... [This message has been edited by LSH (edited September 12, 2004).] |
hmm, you're right (well, not necessarily your guess http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif) but you're right that i am wrong, lsh...that one was used about 350 replies ago, i should have checked!, lol
pretty cool that you spelled our main street name correct though http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif it's ironic (i think that's the right way to describe this) that i give Americans a hard time about forgetting to add a U after the O in words like favourite, colour, etc...then they graciously catch on and start spelling those words right in any correspondence to us canucks or brits.... but THEN they spell it YoUnge Street and and i have to yell at them again, "WHY IN THE HECK WOULD YOU PUT A U AFTER THE O????, SILLY!!!!" http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif [This message has been edited by jj (edited September 12, 2004).] |

Hey Laurel, why do you think it is Minstral Of The Dawn?
Good guess I figure! Here is #82 http://www.fop191.org/community/Ecst...s/ecstasy5.jpg Hope I don't get in trouble for this one... |
Well, Americans can pretty much take apart and truncate any word that comes our way, I'll admit that. However, I think the British our vowel crazy. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
|
Hey LSH are you keeping track of all the songs used so far? You seem to remember them well. I think I should start writing them down soon...
|
You beat me again Laurel.
Great job SM. You have an addicting topic. |
well that could also say Circle Of Steel too but it isnt so no dice on that for me for awhile anyway

ecstasy made easy? (or are they viagras? lol)
|
No! I will use Viagra for "A Tree Too Weak To Stand" lol
|
|
SM, well, the man was obviously a minstrel and the lighting contrast in the pic made it look like daybreak or day's end, and Minstrel was the first song that popped into my head when I saw it...that's all.
I can't name all the songs off the top of my head, but I know when we've used one or not. My brain is used to working that way..part of my daily job..the one i get paid for This one looks like Cherokee Bend [This message has been edited by LSH (edited September 12, 2004).] |
