Well all Right
going back to
http://www.virtuallandmedia.com/img5/miscs/solar.gif
I hazarded five inspired guesses
"It might be "Message To The (Solar) Wind"
or "A Million Degrees And Getting Warmer"
Or "Mars Bound"??,
"The circle Is Huge"
No judging by the trajectory it's probably "Always On the Bright side""
SM said
"No, no and no." did he really mean"no,no,no, no and no"??? or perhaps he is digitally challenged!!
But I don't yet see why Madame Hoover's Spin Spin should get all the honours
and I can't let Laurel get away with guessing all of these!!
In My Not So Humble Opinion
I still think my "Always On the Bright side"
is the better answer
This was clearly the thoughts of a spaceman looking out of the porthole whilst sitting on the starboard
(no make that sunboard) side of his spaceship
Which reminds me of the old chestnut about the derivation of the word ""posh"
which can add snme "spice" to your vocabulary
(Mrs David Beckham). geddit??
According to dictionary.com:-

"A popular theory holds that it is derived from the initials of Port Out
Starboard Home, the cooler, and thus more expensive, side of ships traveling
between England and India in the mid-19th century. The acronym POSH
was supposedly stamped on the tickets of first-class passengers traveling
on that side of ships owned by the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation
Company. No known evidence supports this theory, however"
Just thought you'd like to know

lol, while we're giving poor SM the gears i'd like to add:

"Allison turning her face to the summer rain."

the gif file i am seeing on my pc is not showing any turning of her face, she's just looking at the rain http://www.corfid.com/ubb/tongue.gif

just ribbin', they don't let me play Trivial Pursuit or whatever because i take the fun out of it, lol (JF should be my partner http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif)

my guess for the alarm clock one is:
"don't beat me down"

LSH 08-28-2004 10:30 AM

Being wrong isn't a new place for me to be.

LSH 08-29-2004 12:31 AM

should I feel guilt for guessing so much?
hmmm. I almost do....I decided to delete my second guess, then thought, oh, screw it, and put it back up. I'm greedy and indecisive..

stationmaster 08-29-2004 12:33 AM

OH NO! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/frown.gif
