Ron Jones was in Toronto recently and saw the house on Beaumont in Rosedale area of Toronto and said it was in quite a state of disrepair..

so sad to see that beautiful place with so much history, so richly
steeped in all those memories of where those songs, those wonderful
songs were sung, listened to, interviews done and so many other
memorable occasions took place; it's fallen into disrepair. I can't
believe it and the sight just sent me into a downer . The place is
fenced in totally and the shingles on the roof are curled which is a
sure sign that there's not much been happening there in the way of
maintenance. Very sad day today it is indeed. The shock of seeing that
beautiful structure dying there just kind of staring back at me was
too much too handle. "Is there anyone home in this house made of
stone?'"(One of my favourite listening to GL songs without any

Who now owns the house on Beaumont?????? Why couldn't they have made it into a "historical monument"?
