Poor Elvis - he was so wasted yet he could go out and perform and thrill the audience. He gave his fans what they wanted and I think it's what really did him in. Just what other songs he may have recorded of Gord's we can only wonder.

Gord appeared on Johnny Cash's summer show in 1969. He performed "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" from start to end. Though I didn't stay around for it, I'm told that Cash dueted with GL on "Early Morning Rain".
I won't say it was good or bad, but very interesting!
