2 Artists I Didn't Know Were Canadian

I've known for years Gordon is but it's only been in that last several years or so I learned the following 70's artists were.

Gino Vanelli and Dan Hill.


Speaking of Dan I came across this updated version of his song.

SNAP!. one my closest friends is named susan wong, and she loathes this song for some reason. i like it though. wait till i have some fun and send her the link to this clip, saying i never knew she'd recorded it! :)

My guess is, because the artist has the same name and also,
even 'I' the ultimate fan of '70s music, finds this song a bit nauseating.

I liked it when I was first in love and all but now it's
like that valley girl saying "Like, gag me with a spoon'.

Dan's 'other' hit , 1987's, "Can't We Try?" (with Vonda Shepard,
isn;t much better, in fact, it's a downright boring beyond belief song.

I knew Dan was Canadian but not Gino Vanelli. I had him pegged as a New Yorker.

Looks like his stuff made the R&B charts in the US because he appeared on Soul Train.
