I guess that most Americans are aware that tonight is Char's favourite talk show host David Letterman's final show after 33 years,
Last night he had as his final musical guest Bob Dylan
You can watch the entire 44 minute show by finding it on
http://www.cbs.com
but CBS have thoughtfully also uploaded the 4:47 Dylan segment it is at:-
http://www.cbs.com/shows/late_show/video/2C6A6F38-EC55-6969-5BC7-6F1F5338CEC0/bob-dylan-the-night-we-called-it-a-day-david-letterman/
It is possible that if you are not in the USA that CBS will have blocked access,
in that case just ask that nice Mr Google for some such search term as
"proxy ip address united states"
and you should then be able to find a method for fooling the internet into believing that you are actually in Texas or somewhere Stateside

Tonight it's The Foo Fighters.. and Dylan was his usual weird self..And after Letterman saying how great a songwriter he is he didn't even sing one of his own tunes.. gawd...

he wasnt being weird. its just the common case of bob + tv dont mix.. always has been that way. now this is weird (i assume he was on the terps since it was 1991!)

I've only ever seen him on TV and concert footage.. it may be 'normal' for him but it's weird to me and exactly why I wouldn't give a nickle of my concert ticket budget to see him..maybe way back in the day but not in the last 20 years...i love his songs and albums for the most part, but I'll stick to seeing someone who respects that the fans are who gave him the ability to be the performer he is and call it weird if they choose.. he's not a kid anymore and he needs to grow up..Lightfoot was also another artist not comfortable in front of a camera but he seems to have developed a respect for his fans and it show sin how he comports himself. just my opinion...

Have to say that I adore "Shadows in the Night", as unconventional as he may be, I rate him as a great singer as well as an incredible writer! He is clearly an awkward bugger though, the junos in 1986 prove that!!
