Yes, Joveski, I agree with most of these. Except for number 7 calling "Ball!" during rugby scrums, because (as you know) Melbourne's most popular sport is Australian football and thousands of fans call "Ball!" when a player is caught holding the ball after being tackled.

If anyone is curious about number 18, hook turns were introduced to several CBD crossroads here many years ago to prevent trams being held up by cars stopped in front of them waiting to turn right. Unlike in North America, Australia is one of the many countries where vehicles travel on the left side of the road. To do a hook turn, you pull into the outside left lane, wait until your straight-ahead traffic light turns red and the "perpendicular" traffic light turns green, then complete the right turn as if you had been a "straight-ahead" vehicle waiting for that green light.

Oh, NOW I understand No. 7 (You yell “Ball!” - during every scrum in the rugby).

It's BECAUSE we yell "Ball!" at situations in the popular local code (Australian football), Melbourne people attending a rugby game might yell it when they see a similar situation there. (I wouldn't know, because I've never bothered to attend a rugby game.)
