How many here know that the Oaks have been in existence since sometime in the 1940's?
I read on their website that they started out and a gospel group think The Oak Ridge Gospel something and changed their name to The Oak Ridge Boys about 1962.
Of course they have had various members down since then and I think the one who's been there the longest is the guy with the long beard who joined them in 1965.
