The Packers & Chiefs played the first Super bowl and the L.A. Coliseum with the Pack killing the chiefs 35-10.

And on the subject of big sports events, the Australian Open tennis tournament (one of the world's four Grand Slam titles) has just started in Melbourne. Players include Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Kim Clijsters. The last Australians to win a singles title in this tournament were Mark Edmondson in the 1976 Men's and Christine O'Neil in the 1978 Women's. Our best hopes this year are Bernard Tomic (who in the last couple of hours won his first-round game) and Samantha Stosur (who won the 2011 US Open women's singles).

I watched for a few hours today with my mom and husband. That is all Mom will have the the tv until the end of the tournament. :)
