Thanks for all the condolence messages pertaining to the loss of my younger sister. As many of you know, Diana had a massive ruptured brain aneurysm late Thursday while at work. Co-workers found her unconcious in her office bathroom, shortly after she had borrowed aspirins from someone. The aneurysm pretty much demolished her brain, and she passed away Friday evening at 7:10. She was 51, and was a lawyer at a large law firm in Hartford, Conn.
Her funeral is Tuesday.

Thanks again,
Cathy

Thanks, everyone. Now everyone has to have cat scans again, because it's very rare for three people in the same family to have aneurysms. It seems to be hereditary, something only in Dad's line.

Cathy my condolences for your sad loss, I can fully understand how you must be feeling. My beloved son Lee passed away unexpectedly in August whilst walking our dog. As yet we do not know the cause of his death, we suspect a heart attack. He was 40 and appeared quite healthy.

Sorry for the loss of your son...one never knows when or why these sudden events happen.
Cathy is one of the lucky ones to survive ..her father and sister didn't survive their aneurisms.

My beloved son Lee passed away unexpectedly in August whilst walking our dog.

my heart ached when i read this....i'm so sorry

our fairly young neighbour (a mother) had an aneurysm behind the steering wheel and passed on, but on the bright side, her 11 year old was able to grab the wheel amidst the sudden trauma and steer toward the shoulder as the vehicle eventually glided to a halt

it's so hard to try and get used to expecting the unexpected... enjoy the day

I'm so sorry, Jim. It must be absolutely terrible to lose a son unexpectedly. It was hard for me to deal with Diana's death, but I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must have been for you.

Thank you Cathy, I cannot put into words how difficult it is to come to terms with the loss of a beloved child. My wife and I have a loving family and good friends who have supported us throughout an awful ordeal. Christmas is almost here and there will be an empty chair at our table, that will be difficult, but life goes on.

Thank you jj for your kind thoughts.

I wish everybody in Corfidland a Good Joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.
