I Won't Back Down (Tom Petty) - I'd heard this song play often while at the gym but I never did have any real interest in it. Then I heard Johnny Cash's cover of it and liked it a lot, plus I recognized it from the original. For awhile the Cash version was the only one I'd listen to, but one day I heard the original version once more, and now I like it even better than Johnny's cover (although I still like both).

Turn Off The Light - I don't know if very many people on here listen to this type of music, but when I first heard this song (Nelly Furtado sings it), I HATED IT! But then I heard a much better, slower remix of the song at the bowling alley one day, and the fact that it was so much slower made it so much better. Now I like the original fast version too, although still not as much as the remix.

Ballad Of Ira Hayes (Johnny Cash) - I never cared for this song much (I know I'm going to tick off a lot of people here :o) until I heard the remake of it on the "Classic Hall Of Fame" album (released in 1988), and I thought it was much better. I listen to the remake more than the original.

Pickin' Time (Johnny Cash) - I'd heard this one when I was much younger when riding with my granddad. Never cared much for it at the time but when I decided to play it one day years later, I really liked it.
