Well guess what folks?

Val, hope you're on board because you'll surely get a chuckle from this.

If anyone can recall the "infamous capo issue" that we encountered after the previous pub jam, well, the repeat button has been pressed for this one as I've just discovered after doing an inventory of my equipment that I have a "surplus six string Shubb capo" here and it doesn't belong to me.

The window ledge in the pub was a very convenient place to set all the necessary small items for the gig and I just scooped everything off at the end and into my stash bag it went.

I always like to carry duplicates of everything because I've learned that in this business "Plan B" is very important.

From the experience learned working in this business I realize the importance of a piece of equipment and I want to return this capo to it's rightful owner.

It appears to be a "second fretter."

It's not mine. Mine's safe and sound in my guitar case. If you ask the musicians around the pub, they can probably tell you who it belongs to. Maybe a better thing to do is don't ask. See if someone comes in and says he left his capo, or he can't find his capo. If you ask who lost it, you'll probably get every Tom, Dick and Harry, and maybe even a Sally, trying to claim it.

Plan "B" is always important in my business, too. In fact Plan "C" comes in handy too!

Regrettably this is not my cappo as I was unable to be there... don't own a cappo (yet), wouldn't know one if it fell in my lap!

I know this doesn't help at all, but like Jesse Joe's smiley post earlier in this thread, I don't really have anything to add either...
