That JP is some good guitar player saw him in concert & would go again. Funny guy also. hey good boy jj. :)

hey there, jjo...yeah, i don't think there's an instrument he doesn't play well, well fast-fingered anyhow...great writer and his tribute cd arrangements are tasty, imo

took some cape breton folks to see him (for a taste of home, we were front row, eye to eye with hilda) and there's was either laughter or tears following each of his storied intros:) :(

i posted this not cos of the pro quality audio/video, not, but cos there had been some Hynes chatter lately and mainly cos of the odd story and how it inspired the penning of the song...maybe our 'foundlander RJ has some insight...is there a book?

His Lightfoot tribute album 'The Long River' is superb and a must for any Lighthead.
I also recommend 'Now That The Work Is Done' to sample some of his exceptional musicianship and songwriting abilities.
