Nice pics here, Jesse and Linda. I especially like that big planet over the mountains and the shuttle blast off and looking up and the tulips.

Hi, Jesse Joe! We haven't "talked" in a month of Sundays and more. Died and went to heaven with the "blast from the past" pic. I FINALLY got some decent photos I'm going to try out here, from Town Hall in NYC - wish me luck!

To Patti,

Have you ever lived in Eau Claire Wisconsin ?

This photo was in my newspaper on July 31st. And I had my Ultra High Speed disconected at that time. So I saved the pic to let you see it when I would hook up again.

Click 3 times on it to be able to read it !

Any comments on this story ??? :)

here are some scans of recent gems...
Emma is my little 6 year old whose request of "The Pony Man" was granted that night... she vaguely remembers as she was half asleep at intermission!!

the sticker shock lasts only awhile (note the cost of the tickets)... but life-long memories... well worth every penny and then some!!

Thanks Gord!

charlene

the homes in Rosedale where 6 Beaumont is (not Lightfoot's #5) have pretty large lots and extensive gardens/properties.
The Bridle Path area where he lives now has some huge homes on 2 and 3 acres.
this builder and homeowner in The Bridle Path had a show last year - showing the building of some of the homes he has built - astounding details and excess ..no cost spared.

The Katimavik (Meeting place) a vital part of Canada's Expo 1967 pavilion.
I believe it likely that somewhere here was the stage where Gord performed in May 1967 in the week leading
up to Sunday May 21 the first time I was priveleged to see the man in concert at the New Penelope coffee bar
http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/lightfoot/images/expo67.jpg

Talking of Expo 67 as I was reminds me of the Ontario Pavilion's delightful theme song and film
YouTube- A Place to Stand

"Historical television commercial for tourism in Ontario. "a place to stand, a place to grow, Ontari-ari-ari-o"
The youtube uploader got that badly WRONG
Acutally it was the theme song used in the Ontari-ari-ari-o pavillion at Expo 67 in Montreal in err umm 1967
