Liona Boyd New CD Connecticut News

Ms. Liona Boyd is featured in an article in today's New Canaan, Connecticut newspaper!!! In the article, Liona discusses her work and 2009 release (no date) of her new CD :biggrin:.

Her fans (including yours truly) have been anxiously awaiting the release of her new CD as we have followed it's progress via updates on Liona's website and in her newsletter.

For those of you whom are not familiar with Liona Boyd's work, she is an exceptional professional classical guitarist who had toured with Gordon Lightfoot ..performing for nearly 2 years in the 70's, opening for Gordon's concerts.

Oh and a typo under the photo caption...no Liona was not a "Bond" girl. oh wait...lol yes she was ;)

"Bond" has now been corrected and properly replaced with 'Boyd'. For anyone who has read Liona's autobiography, 'In My Own Key' -Liona was a guest of the "Bond team" during the filming of "Moonraker" in S. America and Paris. She performed during breaks on the set and even was in the back seat of James Bonds' Rolls during filming (though she is not seen there in the film footage). She did have lunch with Roger Moore and he had listened to her perform while on location too.
