I have a friend who been teaching up there for years!

Of course during the regular season I have to root against Connecticut once a year because they are in the same conference as my Rutgers Scarlet Knights!

ok we'll forgive that one time a year!!! lol well I'm a UCONN alumna so a HUGE Huskies fan..through and through. And I can spit to Storrs from where I live. Should be a good game tomorrow! What does your friend teach? I just may know her/him.

He's in the fine arts department - runs the puppetry program which is the only such program in the United States. He'd chew your ear off talking about the European puppetry programs. Lives around Willimantic.

That's pretty country you live in. I drive right by at least once a year and usually more.

I don't suppose you know if the duck pin alley in Coventry is still around?

And, yeah, I'm a Rutgers alumnus and we've had a painful history in football so it's great to see them win. Sadly I just found out our best wide receiver opted for the NFL draft instead of coming back for senior year.

Yeah, that's the duck pin place. We used to love that thing.

Small world. I went to high school with him. He had his out puppet troupe for a bunch of years before taking the UCONN gig. He was funny to play with because he's come up with songs very quickly song the opening line and say "take it Steve" because he didn't know the words and figured I might.....

Moving? Dare I ask where? We'll likely move within a couple of years but it would either be to the house my grandparents built in 1928 and now sits empty since my dad died or head somewhere warm. I get mixed on that. I prefer warm weather but like the way places that get cold weather look lots more.... I want a place that feels like Florida but looks like Maine...

There you go! Good to keep the International Bowl title in the Big East Conference.

Last year it was Rutgers.
