Guy Terrifico !

Saw this great movie Thursday on CBC at Midnight, about this Canadian singer songwriter 'Guy Terrifico.' They still dont know if he faked his own death or not ???

It was the first I heard of this man. I wonder if anyone else saw this, or ever knew of him ? He partied with the best of the best in his days, I was waiting to hear a comment from Gordon Lightfoot in the movie, because many others including Ronnie Hawkins, are in it... No Lightfoot tho !

This was a faux documentary/caricature of the life of "Guy Terrifico"..
not a real person..lots of 'real' talent in the movie tho..(including my boyfriend George Strombo..) LOLOL!

You are correct George S. was in it. So you say that this guy never existed ? Gees, a lot of talented folks participated in it. At the beginning he changes his name to Guy Terrifico, so that's why I thought this was for real. I missed the very beginning where it would have said this is a fictional or true story. Thanks anyway Char... :)

BTW ! You and your new boyfriend look good. I bet he 's gonna mention you one of these nights ? :rolleyes: :)

Never the less it is a great movie to watch very interesting... :)

When he spoke with Lisa on the phone he gave her his e-mail and invited us to a taping of the show so we'll see who the guests will be in the next few weeks and head to the CBC on Front Street and see George at work. Should be quite interesting! I haven't been in the CBC since the memorial for Ernie Coombs (Mr. Dressup) was held in the Glenn Gould room..
I'll ask George how it was working with Kris K...
