Just found out the R&B singer passed away.

He recorded such songs as Show and Tell and The Snake.

CNN reported this morning that R & B singer Al Wilson
who had one of the first #1 songs of 1974 with the classic
"Show And Tell",passed away April 21st from kidney failure. Al was 63.

Al also had other hits like,"The Snake", "La La Peace Song" and his final hit in the 70s "I Have A Feeling We'll Be Seeing Each Other Again".
Which was true for he was most recently seen on a PBS special which reuntied many popular acts of the 1970s. Al sang his #1 hit to an appreciative audience.

Rest in peace Al,your career wasn't the biggest but your singing was the best.

I didn't know him, but nevertheless still is sad news. :( B Stone you should start a thread for obituaries of famous people ? I think this was suggested by RM in the past. Anyway it's just a thought, I will leave it with you to decide... ~Jesse Joe~

I'd rather not do a whole thread,I feel that's a rather morbid thing and it's sad enough just to hear about them one at a time.

A whole line of celebrities passing away,no,I don't like that thought.

YouTube - Al Wilson - The Snake -- [STEREO]

If you've never heard The Sanke, here it is.

I admit I like this one inspite the fact it sounds a bit gross.

Perhaps what he's referring to is a man who's not nice and this woman takes him in thinking she can change him and finds he's still an evil man.
