What a great song, you can fall in dreamland listening to this. Who's the Janice that doesn't post often Charlene, and do you mean here at Corfid ? :)

Janice (she doesn't post often but she IS real.. ;) )

Yeah...like anyone would ever question that fact. (okay, I tried it once and MAH straightened me right out).

I remember Janice was able to provide some interesting insights into the different performers who played there ; who was naughty and who was nice.

If you have hi-speed internet connection and wish to see the videos, here's a link to the archives of "Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour". Janis Ian is show number 410. John Stewart is #301. There are a slew of others.

Wait? Are you saying Janice was Janis Ian? You could have told me,sheeh!

Speaking of "At Seventeen",my copy (of the "Between The Lines" LP) is still in wonderful condition. hard to find that on vinyl without a "ring" on the album cover.

OK now I remember this Janice R. She was posting from California, and was a really nice person. Thanks you all. :)

Thanks for the flashback Char ! I recall attending a concert that Janis Ian opened in CA when I was stationed out there. Who closed ? Who knows ! I recall having fun and of course she did this song - but details ? Oops ! People make jokes about the Sixties but in my opinion the Seventies are harder for most of us to remember. I could call my ex-wife, if I had her number and if I was crazy enough, to ask who closed the show. I think I'll dig through my concert stuff instead.

Great to see that Janis Ian is still going strong !

Bill :)
