Thanks Patti - I needed that. Going back to work after a weeks vacation is not as fun as it once was...

Thanks Patti...I adore the Moody Blues.
What a great song that is and the video was nice to see.

Are you a Moodies fan?

Yes, I'm a Moodies fan, but I've never seen them. I used to love singing this song along with their Seventh Sojourn album back in the 70's.

glad you(s) liked the video.
Bill, I hope you enjoyed your vacation. :)

seventh sojourn - great memories, For My Lady, Isn't Life Strange, New Horizons (just watching Justin Hayward do a 12 string version on old VHS Legend of a Band doc)

as same with GL (where exists), love stripped down versions ie. Hayward & acoustic

here's Tuesday Aft again:

YouTube - The Moody Blues - Tuesday Afternoon

+ a fave ballad from later Octave album (I remember buying a quite cool looking 'red' LP)

YouTube - The Moody Blues - Driftwood

then a more uptempo acoustic version of Lovely to See You from Stern (nutso) show

YouTube - The Moody Blues - Lovely to see you

the list goes on....such a large personal influence on writing plus just evolving as a teen

thanks for flashback

Those are all great videos....thanks everyone, I really enjoyed seeing them.

Ray Thomas is very much missed by all the Moody fans. His rich baritone voice added so much to the vocals and his flute solos were awesome to behold during a concert.

For My Lady is such a beautiful song. They have made so many great albums.
One of my personal favorites is "To our Childrens's Children's Children".
Great stuff on that one.
