A new world record?

The Northern branch of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of N.B. built the world's biggest igloo in order to set a new world record at the second annual Igloo competition this weekend in Grand Falls. According to official measures, the team has succeeded in its attempt. The record to break was a diameter of 24 feet and 2 inches, and this igloo measures 25 feet 9 inches and is 13.8 feet high. It took approximately 75 volunteers and 2,000 blocks of ice to construct. The official papers and measures will be sent this week to Guinness to be validated and recorded.
