Just noticed in a poll today, that our area, Minneapolis/St. Paul, is 14th in "Road Rage".
Rather a dubious distiction, don't ya think? :(

14th does not sound so bad to me! What was Los Angeles? From the way people drive over here it should be in the top #5 at least! :(

Interesting - I lived three years in Pittsburgh and found the drivers there really laid back and friendly. So the poll seems to be right.
Than we moved to Minneapolis four years ago and I really found a difference here. A lot of drivers are rude and they couldn't care less about others. I know, it sounds funny out of the mouth of a German. We're not excactly known for laid back and courteous driving...

Hi Louise,
funny, I was only one off. I don't think I would want to drive in any of the other three. lol

Hi Claudia,
yes, you're right we Germans are not exactly famous for being laid back drivers. One thing I do notice, too, now that I'm used to being stuck in LA traffic, is that everything over there seems to be a lot faster and there is not much tolerance for people who don't want to go 110 miles or faster on the free way. Funny I used to drive like that, too.

Hi Kerstin,

you are soo right, I really had to laugh because I also used to be one with a heavy right foot. And now, when I'm back for vacation there I'm totally content going around 70 mph. My brother once looked at me kind of funny before he ran out of patience and suggested to actually use the accelerator...

How right you are, we live in Minneapolis, too.
Whatever happened to "Minnesota Nice"? Guess that tag must have fallen by the wayside. :(
