(...and no I'm not making pun about Tarzan). :)

I was leafing through a magazine at my local barbershop while waiting my turn and I read, breifly,about how something called tar sand,is causing even worse environmental problems than even coal or fossil feuls.

Those of you in Canada,can you enlighten me about what exactly tar sand is and what effect it's having environmentally? I've heard of tar or sand but never a combo of both.

Appreciate any insight. ;) Thanks in advance.

Thanks Jess & Bill,dang...tht's some seriously volitale stuff happening up there. :eek:

I knew environmentally things were not good but I could not imagine something of that level!

It's almost depressing. :( I wonder if Gordon would write a protest song about it?
