I just came from CNN and was surprised to find out that 2 weeks ago on December 14th,Mike Evans who played Lionel on The Jeffersons,passed away at 57. It was reported he had throat cancer.
Evans also had a hand in creating "Good Times" (which is why Ralph Carter's character had the same name.) Ja'Net DuBois who sang The Jeffersons theme "Movin' On Up",was Wilona on that show,possibly chosen by Evans.
Earlier this year Frankln Cover who played Tom Willis passed away also.
Isabel Sanford who played Louise died in July of 2004 and Roxie Roker who played Helen Willis passed away in December of 1995.
