Yes I did Cathy, An amazing video indeed, Neil young does a lot of good videos and stuff like Farm Aid

. I like the one where he stands in front of giant Amps, his black electric gibson guitar.

Im not sure of the title of the song. maybe Cinnamon Girl, he says in it, "Rock and roll will never die."

Also did you see him on SNL when the song was over, he pulled on his temolo arm, snapping all those shiny guitar strings. What was that song I do have it on video I could and will watch it sometimes tonight.

I didn't see Neil on SNL. I rarely watch the show now. I watched it religiously in the '70s, and even came home early on Saturday night so I wouldn't miss it.

I liked Age Of Aquarius when it was popular. Now I find it to be a bit too overproduced for my tastes. I prefer less orchestration... just a person w/ a guitar, and a few backup musicians. That doesn't take away from the song, though. It's a pretty good one.

Wow. That was interesting. I don't remember him at all from the '60s, and didn't really know of him at all until the early and mid '70s.

His Greek lineage probably explains his Middle East looks. I always thought he had some Arab blood in his lineage. A lot ofMiddle Eastern people mixed with Mediterraneans in the late BC and early AD years, and probably do now, as far as that goes.

He's still got a great voice!

Thanks for sharing this with me, Jesse.

Double Wow! Ditto all that Cathy wrote. Have loved his voice and music for many years and knew very little about him. Thanks Jesse.

I wonder how the old folks are tonight
Her name was Ann and I'll be damned if I recall her face
She left me not knowing what to do

You are both quite welcome, Cathy & Ann. This afternoon I watch the 1 hour and 6 minutes, on his fascinating life. He was really, and still is a good human being. I will always like him...Jesse

Mom came up for a visit, and all we did was run the roads, visiting old friends and relatives.
She left this morning. And it's a good thing she did, because I couldn't keep up with her. I'm exhausted!

She's doing great... no health problems, except with her knees. She will probably need knee replacement surgery in a year or two.

She's living on the coast of Maine, in South Tomaston, with a man she went to school with. He owns two bed and breakfast inns, and she helps with the registrations and cooking. They have a couple of college girls who come in once a day to change the beds, do laundry and cleaning.

At first, I wasn't too impressed with Gray, the man she lives with. I told him right outright that mom is getting older, and he needed to get her some help with the cleaning and laundry. I guess he took my words to heart.
