It might have helped Bru had you typed or pasted in a link or at least
previewed your proposed posting to check that the link worked. you might
then have spotted that the only link was to your own site. I think that
you might have intended to include:-

Buddy and his Crickets in action
(a still from the fantastic Ed Sullivan Show rendition of "Oh Boy")
I well remember that extra sad day in in my life. The more so because I
had not been able to attend a Holly concert in 1958 in Salisbury only
35 miles from where I was confined to my boarding schol and I fully
intended going there in 1959 if Buddy's planned 1959 return to the UK
had been possible. I consoled my loss only 8 years later when I first
saw Gord in concert in 1967 in Montreal.

Nevertheless Bru thanks for the reminder

Best wishes
John
I also find that typos stick out more in the preview window for some reason

Bespectacled Buddy Holly: an unlikely image of a rock 'n' roll star
where I read
"American Pie" was the name of the airplane they died in. I felt ripped off that they died.
Jack Pollock, USA"
which if it is a fact I cetainly do not recall knowing before

I remember when I was little,I'd play my Mom's (Dad's?) copy of "Oh,Boy!" :) I thought it was one of the coolest song I'd heard at that time.
(Kinda makes you wonder how I could also have been an Osmonds fan too! :D LOL!
