Hey T.! :D (I'll just call you that fom now on...easier)

Yep,I remember her quite well. I bought the "Cowboys" single (a top 10 hit in '97) and later I bought her album, which had,"I Don't Want To Wait" and the 3rd song,"Me", that was strictly an "airplay only" hit. (Meaning no commercial single was released.)

At the 1998 Grammy Awards, she won for Best New Artist...but,unfortunatley,like most acts who win that prize, she faded out of view. I'm sure she's still recording but right now,as far as the mass populace (poplulation) is concerned, she's quite forgotten. Too bad, really. :( It's was a good album.

You know,it never ceases to amaze me how a person will sometimes ask a question on a website, get an answer and then not reply back themselves.

The other thing that i have to mention is that in the weeks since Touhy postd this thread,I have heard,"...Cowboys..." & "I Don't Want To Wait" at least 4 times each!
Before this,I hadn't heard them in years! (I own the LP/tape & Cowboy single but rarely play them.)

What do you mean by your 1st statement? What else is there to say?

Well Touhy,it's not a negative statement, nor am I mad. It's just when you pose a question to people and they reply to you,it's simple manners and/or common courtesy to reply back. ;)

At least a "Thank you,I thought I was alone in knowing that" or something similar.
Or just "thanks" in general.
Otherwise,it makes the person who responded feel like they answered for no reason.

No big deal man,it just seemed like the topic was important enough for you to have posted it in the 1st place. :) Later!

Hey B,

Don't lose any sleep over it. I know what you mean though. Discussion implies a back and forth conversation. When you reply to a question you expect a response, makes perfect sense. This is supposed to be a discussion forum not a monologue forum or for that matter a 'cheap-shot' forum but some people can't resist the chance to take a shot. Sheesh ! Spelling errors ? Dude - lighten up Jim ! We all do the best we can.

Bill :)

Don't worry Bill, the days where I'd lose sleep over anybody are long gone. The only time that's true though is when it's someone I genuinely know and care about in my immediate life here. :)
