Anybody know what key "Sweet Caroline" is in?

What key was Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" recorded in? A? Bb? B? Unfortunately, I'm not very good at picking out keys from records. This is a harder song to sing than I thought it would be! Thanks.

Thanks. It's in the key of A, but I don't remember if Neil uses a capo on the second fret or not. Just go to Google and search Sweet Caroline guitar chords and you should come up with about a zillion pages.

Thanks, Molly and Cathy. I believe it is in A, capo-ed at the second fret, and so the true key is B. Several websites give the chords in A, but I finally found a credible site that confirms a capo on 2.
I kept playing it in A, but the note on the word "strong" was so low--I kept thinking there is no way Neil sings that note on the record. In B, the low note is an F# (rather than an E), which is much easier for me to sing!

I don't know what key it's in but I do know that Neil and I are one of the few people who can sing that word "strong" as deep in bass as he does,without going off key! :D
