Yesterday,(10/4) Maichael Gibbins drummer/member of early '70s "Beatle"-like group Badfinger passed away. The news source I read did not say how he passed on or how old he was.
Gibbins is the third member of this band to "pass on" but the first to go of "alleged" natural causes. Frontman Pete Ham comitted suicide 30 years ago in April of '75. In 1983 bassist Tom Evans also took his own life.
Remaining sole member/lead guitar player Joey Molland says he had only spoken to his friend days before and in recent years had "patched up their falling out" from years before.
Badfinger's hits were "No Matter What","Come and Get It,"Day After Day" and "Baby Blue".
