Here's the nominees for Best picture of '03,even if you haven't seen these films (and I haven't),which do you think at least sounds like the best choice?
Lord of The Rings:The Return Of The King
Lost in Translation
Master & Commander:The Far Side of the World
Mystic River or
Seabiscuit?
In my opinion, the second 2 are the underdog choices. Seabiscuit has a very good chance, where Mystic River (despite it's success) has no chance. My overall choice is the 3rd installment of LOT Rings:TROTKing.
I have seen the 1st two installments and I really felt they were Best Picture status. I'm sure Chicago was entertaining but Lord Of The Rings:Two Towers really should have won.
While I'm happy for Ron Howard and "A Beautiful Mind",the 1st Lord Of The Rings totally mezmerized me. (Which for a fantasy film is a tough sell at my age.)
So,once again,"Lord Of The Rings:Return Of The King:Best Picture 2003. Been me,later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif
