I've strummed and picked a bit since my teens but, recently, I've started taking classical guitar lessons so, in a few years' time, I'll be able to murder Vivaldi's Mandolin Concertos as well as GL's songs!!!

Watch out! and keep the ear defenders handy!

As long as you can play a tune, no matter how simple it is, you're in as a guitar player on this topic.

You didn't mean to say that to Cathy, did you? She is one of the best guitar players you are ever going to meet, trust me. Maybe you meant that for the other folks who were saying that they weren't very good at it? And that would include me, another bad beginner.
