Upon seeing the news of the "eradication" of the sons of saddam (lower type purposeful) I listened as people sort of "celebrated' the fact that they were killed. Mind you,I'm not saying anything on the positive about them, for I know there isn't,as far as they go. What I'm saying is,is this really a good way to react? I know they were horrible but my own take on it was just to feel sorry that they and their father could not have been better people than they turned out to be and I basically said to myself,"May God have mercy on their souls." Maybe some feel they don't even deserve that much but I feel it's better than being happy someone's been killed. Even them. I guess I'm a person who may care too much but I am glad though that the people of Iraq no longer have to suffer at their or saddam's hands. Thanks for reading. Later.

Borderstone,
Intersting post; I did not no you had a serious side http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif. I tend to agree with what you are saying. I think our society (I'm talking about the United States) has become too comfortable with killing. Violence on Television, Video games and even in music is making us numb to it. Just my opinions of course.

I agree with that Walt. My god-daughter's mother and her boyfriend have playstation and a copy of Grand Theft Auto and they let her play it! I can't say anything about it because it's really not my place to. Just seeing the images makes me wince and shut my eyes. Yes,I have a very serious side but I don't bring it out here very often because I enjoy the fun of posting mesaages and "cracking wise." If there's a good enough reason, you bet I'll turn serious. Being older and wiser than I was just a few years ago,I don't make a big joke out of everything like I used to. Thank God. It's been me. Later.
